BRASS PLATE
A widely used lead brass with good mechanical properties and good cutting processability. It can withstand cold and hot pressure processing and is used for various structural parts such as gaskets and bushings that are cut and stamped. Tin brass plate has high corrosion resistance and good mechanical properties. It has good pressure processability in cold and hot states and can be used for corrosion-resistant parts on ships and parts and conduits that come into contact with media such as steam and oil.
PRODUCT FEATURES
Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc. The simplest brass is a copper-zinc binary alloy, called simple brass or ordinary brass. Brass with different mechanical properties can be obtained by changing the zinc content in brass. The higher the zinc content in brass, the higher its strength and slightly lower its plasticity. The zinc content of brass used in industry does not exceed 45%. A higher zinc content will produce brittleness and deteriorate the alloy properties. In order to improve certain properties of brass, brass with other alloy elements added to single brass is called special brass. Common alloying elements include silicon, aluminum, tin, lead, manganese, iron and nickel.
PRODUCT USES
It can be used to make various deep-drawn and bent parts, such as pins, rivets, washers, nuts, conduits, barometers, screens, radiator parts, etc. It has good mechanical properties, good plasticity in hot state, acceptable plasticity in cold state, good machinability, easy brazing and welding, corrosion resistance, and is a common brass variety with wide application.
