316 STAINLESS STEEL BAR
316 grade stainless steel is an austenitic form of stainless steel that contains 2-3% molybdenum. The added molybdenum makes the metal more resistant to pitting and corrosion and improves resistance to exposure to high temperatures. This grade of stainless steel is particularly effective when used in acidic environments. With this metal, corrosion caused by acetic acid, hydrochloric acid, and other forms of acid can be prevented.
316 Stainless Steel Bar: 316 stainless steel contains molybdenum and has a low carbon content. Its resistance to pitting corrosion in marine and chemical industrial environments is greatly superior to 304 stainless steel! (316L low carbon, 316N high nitrogen strength, 316 stainless steel has a high sulfur content and is easy to cut stainless steel).
