904L STAINLESS STEEL TUBE

A type of tube used for steel making, its chemical composition is expressed as 00Cr20Ni25Mo4.5Cu, which is an austenitic stainless steel with better corrosion resistance. With the addition of 1.5% copper, 904L stainless steel tubes have excellent corrosion resistance to reducing acids like sulfuric and phosphoric acid. In addition, the material has low carbon properties for welding purposes.

The foreign name for 904L stainless steel tubing is Super Austenitic Stainless Steel Tubing. Depending on the manufacturing process, 904L stainless steel tubes are categorized into two types: seamless tubes and welded tubes. The outer diameter of seamless pipe ranges from 6-720MM and wall thickness from 0.4-14MM; the outer diameter of welded pipe ranges from 12-1820MM.
