304 STAINLESS STEEL PLATE

304 stainless steel is a common material in stainless steel, with a density of 7.93 g/cm³, also called 18/8 stainless steel in the industry. High temperature resistance of 800 , with good processing performance, high toughness, widely used in industry and furniture decoration industry and food medical industry.

The common labeling methods on the market are 06Cr19Ni10, SUS304, of which 06Cr19Ni10 generally indicates that the national standard production, 304 generally indicates that the ASTM standard production, SUS 304 indicates that the Japanese standard production.

304 is a general-purpose stainless steel, which is widely used in the production of equipment and machine parts requiring good overall performance (corrosion resistance and formability). In order to maintain the corrosion resistance inherent in stainless steel, the steel must contain more than 18% chromium, more than 8% nickel content. 304 stainless steel is in accordance with the U.S. ASTM standard production out of a grade of stainless steel.

Stainless steel plate has a smooth surface, high plasticity, toughness and mechanical strength, and is resistant to corrosion by acid, alkaline gases, solutions and other media. It is an alloy steel that is not prone to rust, but not absolutely rust-free.

Stainless steel plate is divided into two kinds of hot-rolled and cold-rolled according to the method of production, including thin cold plate with a thickness of 0.02-4 millimeters and medium-thick plate with a thickness of 4.5-100 millimeters.

304 is widely used in household goods (1, 2 types of tableware), cabinets, indoor piping, water heaters, boilers, bathtubs, automobile parts, medical appliances, building materials, chemical, food industry, agriculture, ship parts.
